MCS Multiple chemical sensitivity is also known as chemical sensitivity, chemical intolerance and toxicant-induced loss of tolerance, with this last name emphasizing the role of chemicals in initiating cases of this disease. Pall's paper, entitled Multiple Chemical Sensitivity: Toxicological Questions and Mechanisms, establishes five important facts about MCS ( go to  link at end of note).

Some toxic agents causing MCS :

Barium, Aluminium, Titanium, Pyrethroides, Permethrin, in general Pesticides, Herbicides, Fungicides , Fertilisers; Organophosphates, Trychlorylphosphates,  Lindane, Formaldehyde, Fluoride, DDT, Solvents and many other neurotoxins used in the environment in liquid form, gas form, sprays, aerosols , chemtrail spraying  etc. - many of these highly toxic agents and thousands more are hidden in practically everything you are in contact with on a daily basis:

In processed foods, on fresh fruit and vegetables, cosmetic products, house hold cleaning products, paints, rose sprays, insect sprays, and through the air from contamination from the skies: chemtrails, insecticide sprays used on board air-craft, chemicals inhaled on board aircraft in the cabin air with so called "bleeds" from the engine oil, in your hotel room on holiday and lots more.

Just one contact can give you severe symptoms, others build up a chronic level of toxins and develop long term health issues over on going period of exposure.

Symptoms of intolerance as a result from poisoning by toxic agents :

Hairloss

Breathing problems

Asthma

Dry coughing

Sinus irritation

Dry nose, swelling of tissue

Sneezing

Sore throat

Eye irritation

Skin rashes, flaking skin

Acne type rashes

Digestive problems ( i.e. Irritable bowel)

Neuseasness

Headaches

Migraines

Dizziness

Vertigo

Equilibrium imbalances

Hearing problems

Nerve twitching

Tremors

Palpitations

Increased heart rate

Thyroid problems

Irritability

Aggressiveness

Depression

Word finding problems

Concentration problems

Memory loss

Disorientation

Insomnia

Anxiety

Sudden phobias, i.e. claustrophobic

Numbness in fingers/toes/hands

Tremors

Vision impaired/ hazy

Sudden fear of ladders or heights

Increased sensitivity to odours

Intolerance to fragrances

Increased sense of smell

Sore throat that never seems to go away

Chronique fatigue from mild to severe

Always sick

Colds/flu’s are not easily shaken and last much longer than normal (past the usual 8-10 days)

Sudden onset of allergic reactions to foods and pollen etc

Muscle soreness

Muscle weakness

Neurological symptoms similar to symptoms of ME or MS sufferers

Hormonal problems

Infertility

The severity of symptoms can vary. Not everybody has reactions, often a person who has such problems have very weak immune system, lack of certain enzymes that protect the body, excess stress, fatigued adrenals etc. But nevertheless everybody should start taking care of themselves by being more aware of what they are putting into their body! You never know, just because you havent got any or just very moderate symptoms, doesn't mean that the body could not suddenly give in to the onslaught! It takes a lot, and may not send signals - until one day it just collapses, and thats when the real problems start!

Usually a person has a whole list of the above named symptoms.

The nature of these neurotoxins is such that the body deposits most of them in the fatty tissue, because it cannot metabolise them or get rid of them elsewhere. Even the slimmest person has some fatty tissue. The brain is also fatty tissue. Every bit of stress or toxic top-up releases toxins back in to the blood stream, where they are re-circulated throughout the system several times, increasing and aggravating the symptoms. Neurotoxins damage the mitochondria ; Mitochondria are known as the powerhouses of the cell. They are organelles that act like a digestive system that takes in nutrients, breaks them down, and creates energy for the cell. The process of creating cell energy is known as cellular respiration. Most of the chemical reactions involved in cellular respiration happen in the mitochondria. A mitochondrion is shaped perfectly to maximize its efforts. Swamped with toxic material it cannot breathe.  Lack of 02 ( oxygen)  and HO2  (water) in the cells causes an environment for degenerative cells ( i.e. fungus, cancer).  The thyroid and the cellular structure are also in jeopardy to the point of non-recovery.

To find out if you are suffering from MCS and from which chemicals, book in for a SCIO BIOFEEDBACK scan, including allergy testing for food intolerances, pollen, trees, environmental chemicals and lots more.

You will receive a personalised therapy and life style plan according to your needs to help you back to good health with abundant energy !

Bearnairdin herself was diagnosed in 1996 with a chronic intoxication through Permethrin/Pyrethroides/DDT/ Lindane and Formaldehyde. After several years of de-toxing and finding her health back to nearly 100% she was exposed to TCP Trychloryphosphate on a flight to Europe in 2010. Symptoms reappeared and some were worse then before - but : she's working on it !
