I created the Little House of Avalon from a dream and have managed it since 1998. My areas of professional development include medical laboratory, back and pain management, stress management, scientific research and alternative medicine.  I am an advocate of non-invasive, alternative cures for all dis-eases.  

This led to my love story with SCIO and my interest in quantum physics and metaphysical studies including energy medicine and intuitive healing. My areas of expertise are the utilization of intuition and spirituality to enhance personal transformation, improve every aspect of your life; and enrich the mind, body and soul.

It is said that we are all born with a “calling”.  My conclusion is that while we seem separate and distinct from one another, we have a shared identity.  We are all part of a vast sea of energy.

From the age of 7 Shamanka's Life became entwined with her natural ability to intentionally access the energy of vibrational medicine for the benefit of others which is called Nagualism*. Years of research and experience in this creative playground, walking as a 'nothing within the everything', has led to her recognising the constructs and patterns that people find themselves encased in and the discrepancies between Spirit and the formed personality self.

World famous author Carlos Castaneda used the term Nagual in his books to depict a person who has the skills to guide people to new areas of awareness and alternate realities just as valid as ours.

"It distracts the mind, so that the true 'being' can emerge and be known".

After going through the difficult journey of the illness and the horrors of cancer treatment she took up the studying of Psychotherapy and Counselling.  She has her own Practice "Little Way" but also offers her services at The Little House ofAvalon.  She believes that as travelers on the same journey of life we have much to offer and gain from one another.

Catherine Seery

Light Art Reflexologist. Catherine took an interest in complementary therapies when her children were very small to reduce as much as possible the amount of medicine they were given for all the usual childhood illnesses and to help calm and soothe them while they were teething or had colics.

She trained as Light Art TM Reflexologist in 2000 at The Little House Avalon (*our 2 year Diploma course is accredited by VTCT - Vocational training Charitable Trust /UK ); Catherine qualified "best of all classes" that were run at The Little House of Avalon.

Fiona Crean

Massage Therapist and Beautician

 

Fiona has wonderful hands and will give you fabulous relaxing or envirgorating massage or beauty treatment. Apart from working at The Little House of Avalon she also has her own little salon in Roscommon. Fiona adores animals and has her own miniture pet farm at home !

Gerry Murphy

Light Art Reflexologist and Reiki Practitioner, Gerry has been interested in alternative / complementary therapies for most of his adult life.
35 years ago Gerry trained as a Transcendental Meditation therapist and ran sessions during his lunch break at work.

Gerry also has a diploma in counselling and qualified in 2001 in The Little House of Avalon's The Light Art Reflexology TM (*our 2 year Diploma course is accredited by VTCT - Vocational training Charitable Trust /UK).
