We are small, with a casual, discreet elegance in a relaxed atmosphere. We have for you: fresh-fresh air, Grander energised and revitalised spring water, tranquillity, heavenly spa and holistic complementary health treatments and a passion: You!
We are located in the heart of a triangle formed by Athlone, Ballinasloe and Roscommon – we are petite, different, exquisite and discreet. Our little piece of heaven is situated in an area with an Abundance of Nature’s Best! Here you can enjoy your Spa, relaxation, de-stress and detox treatments to the full.
“We” that’s Anthony and Bearnairdin, husband and wife team and owners of the Little House. We have travelled the world and have collected a vast amount of knowledge and wisdom which we integrate into everything we do.

Since opening our doors wide in 1998, our Guests and Clients have commented on the obvious love that oozes creativity and care out of every detail at The Little House of Avalon: Bearnaridin’s artistry came to it’s full use in the decoration and in all the little bits and pieces you need while here ( “more than in any 5 star hotel” , some Guests remark); creative touches here and there, no everywhere: in the house, the spa treatments area, our largest therapy room the gardens, the magical Sacred Space. The enchanting ambience in the over 150 years

old thatched cottage where most complementary holistic and special back and neck pain treatments are given takes you way back in time; most Guests also observe the change of energy, the growing light-ness and stillness while driving down the little bótharín (country lane) with grass running up the centre, to Avalon……

……the mystical island of Avalon hidden in the mists, away from the hustle and bustle of the world……… you find it when you need it! ( Avalon means Apple Yard, Apple Garden) Here it is where your physical, mental and emotional health and your well-being are the most important factors, also following illness or post or pre-surgery, as well as your inner and outer beauty are nourished and will thrive again.


Our highly effective traditional and much loved Therapies some grown over thousands of years out of ancient wisdom are now meeting up with the future in the field of Energy Medicine helping us to help you even more effectively!

We personally look after all your needs: your holistic therapies and spa treatments, your healthy meals prepared fresh from as much organic produce as is available - and any other pleasant thing to make your stay with us unforgettable.
All of that and more is what you will find here with us. You are welcomed in to a safe, discreet, warm hearted space by our team of three: Alice who joined us a while ago with her wealth of experience to take care of your every need is the number three in our team.
